Examinations
Our girls will be writing their exams/tests as from Monday. Please help your girls to do the best they can by creating a quiet and organised sanctuary for them at home that is conducive to learning and not distracting in any way. This may mean the TV may be off for the next two weeks but it is a small sacrifice to make to help your daughter to study.

Please make sure that she has a healthy breakfast that will sustain her through her morning exam and she has a healthy lunch to get her ready for the next one. Please limit your daughter’s sugar intake during this time.
While studying, determine a time limit that your child can concentrate for – it can be between 25- 45 minutes and give her short breaks in between. Please DON’T let these breaks be TV watching time, let her go outside, get some sunshine, go for a short walk or use this time to have a healthy power snack. Please also ensure that she has a good night’s rest before each exam.
Make a concerted effort to get up a little earlier each morning so that your child can come to school having experienced quiet and calm before she writes.
Thank you for supporting your daughter through what can be a stressful time for her.

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” – Pelé, Brazilian football legend.

Personality of the Week
Congratulations to Liyabona Mbutye who received the Personality of the Week for Good Work Ethic and Kindness towards others. Thank you, Liyabona for the positive contribution you make at school every day.

Indlumanthi Badge of Excellence
Congratulations to Sally Kadye who was our last recipient of the badge this year. Sally is a well-mannered young girl who never fails to greet those around her. She is always neatly dressed and well-prepared for school every day. Her books are impeccable and her work during lockdown was a perfect example of this. Sally works hard in every aspect of school and excels because of this dedication and self-discipline. Well done, Sally. We are extremely proud of you and you can wear your new badge with pride. It is most deserved.

Merit Achievers
Well done Lande Gxina who have received over 250 merits so far this year!

Happy birthday to the following girls who celebrated this week: Buncwane Mandita, Hlombe Mandita, Jessica Schlebush, Ngozichukwuka Edozeem, Kungawo Mpendu, Lunathi Makasi and Mihle Maqoqa. We hope your day was very special.
