Exam time is just around the corner and we ask that you help your child prepare for these very important tests.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Each child from Grade 4-7 has received a list of what they need to learn for exams. Your daughter should have already started her revision and have a study programme to follow.\u00a0 Please make sure your daughter revises for English, her first additional language and Mathematics too. These are essential core subjects and do require revision. Girls must learn their language (Parts of speech, Language structures etc) and Mathematics requires regular practice to ensure that the various skills are mastered.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Help prepare your daughter by creating an environment that is conducive to studying at home by:<\/p>\n
Please note that from the 25 May-5 June, school will end at 13:00 for Grade 4-7, however on some days the girls will be involved in extramurals between 13:00 -14:00 (the exam extramural programme will be shared next week). <\/strong><\/p>\n We feel very strongly that it is to our girls’ benefit that they remain active during the stressful exam time. Physical activity is very important during exams as it\u00a0helps to oxygenate the brain, releases tension, allows our girls a healthy break between classes and study time, and helps them to study more efficiently. Please support the Kind Club\u2019s efforts to raise funds for the Reach for a Dream Slipper Day.<\/p>\n Bottle Tops for Wheelchairs!<\/strong><\/p>\n Our Environmental and Aesthetics Committee is promoting the collection of plastic bottle tops for wheelchairs. Each class is encouraged to collect as many milk, juice and water bottle tops as possible. The collected bottle tops will be delivered to recyclers who sell the materials and donate funds to initiatives that provide wheelchairs to those in need.
