Art and drama are incorporated into the School Curriculum. Music and drama is very much alive here at Victoria Primary School. We are fortunate to be affiliated to the Johan Carinus Art School and we have a well-equipped art class here at school. Work is exhibited annually at the Art School Prize Giving. Some of the art is also displayed at the Bathurst Agricultural Show. The top art works are framed each year and are on permanent display in various venues in the school and the hostel.

During Drama lessons the girls are exposed to many genres. The teachers follow CAPS and they utilise the girls’ talents. Dramatic productions are a feature of the cultural programme offered at this school. The teachers and music staff usually write the script and music for these highly acclaimed productions. Each year all our Foundation Phase girls participate in a dramatic production. The Grade R’s get us in the Christmas spirit by presenting a Nativity play. Our productions are always on a large scale and we try to incorporate all the girls in the Intersen Phase.
