Good luck to our Foundation Phase Educators part taking in this growing opportunity.

The FP teachers will be attending a NumberSense Course on Monday, 20 October. Pick up time for Grade 1-3 will be at 13:00 at the Pre-Primary gate in Beaufort Street.

Extramural change: Please note that as the coach will be away Orange Dot tennis (14:00-15:00) is cancelled on Monday.

Grade R Museum outing

On Thursday, 23 October, the Grade Rs will be visiting the Albany Natural History Museum to explore the dinosaur exhibition and learn some more interesting facts about these creatures. They will walk there and back. Children can be collected from the Pre-Primary gate at 12:30 as usual and Aftercare will also continue as usual. We wish them a happy visit!

Thank You to Three Valleys

The Grade 4 learners of Victoria Primary School would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Three Valleys for hosting us and providing such an enriching learning experience.

Our visit to the Protea and Predator Sanctuary was both exciting and educational. The learners thoroughly enjoyed discovering more about the fascinating world of proteas, their habitats, and the important role of their predators in maintaining balance in nature.

We are so grateful to the Three Valleys team for sharing their knowledge, enthusiasm, and care for the environment. It was a truly memorable outing that inspired us all to appreciate and protect our natural surroundings.

School closing time

The main gate on Beaufort Street will be locked at 16:30 (Monday-Thursday) and 15:00 on Friday. If children are not collected by this time, they will be sent to Aftercare. They can be collected from the Aftercare facility which is accessed via the hostel entrance in Hill Street. Please note that while we understand that some days don’t run as expected, if we notice repeated late collection or the collection is later than our aftercare hours, parents will be charged aftercare fees to their account. Please ensure that you have arranged safe and reliable transport for your daughters.

Dropping off items at the office

Please ensure that your daughter brings all items required for her day to school with her in the morning. Limit drop offs at the office to cupcakes and birthday treats only.

Checkers “Little Shop” toys

If you have been receiving the latest Checkers give-away toys with your shopping, please consider donating them to our Pre-Primary for use in class. They are used for fantasy play, counting and many other fun activities.
