VP Newsletter 12 June 2026 published on No Comments on VP Newsletter 12 June 2026

Message from the office

We are once again on the downhill slope to the end of the term. This week we have composed a very short newsletter which includes reminders for the rest of the term. Our next newsletter will be the final newsletter which will be included in your daughter’s report envelopes that will be ready for collection on 24 June between 07:30 and 08:30.

We trust that you will have a relaxing long weekend with your family as our country celebrates Youth Day.  It is vital that all girls return to school next week for their final days of the term. We will be business as usual and teaching will continue – don’t let your daughter convince you otherwise!!

Interhouse singing

Our interhouse singing is due to happen after school today. This is an exciting annual event and the girls have enthusiastically practised in their houses.  We eagerly anticipate the performances and results – which will be included in our final newsletter.

K-Day

Any VP girl attending matches for K-Day are expected to be dressed neatly in full school uniform.

School Times

Please note that on Monday and Tuesday next week there is no school (school holiday & Youth Day). On Wednesday and Thursday there will be no extramurals (except for Senior & FP choir) for all grades. Grade 1,2 &3 must be picked up from Huntley Street at 13:00 and Grade 4-7 will finish at 14:00. On Friday, 19 June school will finish at 10:30 for all grades.  There will be no Aftercare on this day.

Final Academic Assembly

Our final academic assembly will take place on Friday, 19 June at 08:30. All girls who will be receiving academic certificates received a letter today. Girls must come to school dressed in full school uniform (with blazer for Grade 4-7). Parents are most welcome.

Term 2 Reports

On Wednesday, 24 June we will be handing out reports from 07:30-08:30 from Beaufort Street entrance. We will be emailing digital copies of your daughter’s report on that day too. If you do not collect the hard copy of your daughter’s report, this will be given to her on the first day of next term.
